The path through the Lincoln Binns design process can take one of 3 routes
Information requirements:
The dimensioned drawing can be anything from a hand drawn sketch up to a full CAD 3D model.
Artwork such as logos and icons need to be in a vector format so that we can resize them without losing resolution.
A list of fonts being used for any text.
A list of components being used in the end panels would allow us to double check the cut-out dimensions against the manufacturers specifications to determine the best cut-out size and method to use; be it punch, mill or laser cut.
Option One
If you have a clear vision of what you require:
Send to us a dimensioned drawing
Artwork layout and files
List of components
What we will do with the information:
Produce a set of pre-production drawings
Send them to you for approval
Create a functional working unit (at cost) if required
Option Two
If you are unsure of the final look of the enclosure:
Send to us your PCB, connectors and any other components used
Send us your artwork files or logo
The name of the font used in the text
What we will do with the information:
Produce a set of pre-production drawings
Send them to you for approval
Create a functional working unit (at cost) if required
Option Three
If you want to be more involved in the design process:
Make an appointment to visit our facility in West Sussex
Sit down with the Design Manager
Go through the design options
Leave with a working prototype in hand.
