Compute Module 4 enclosures

CM4-Box Pro

The CM4 – Box Pro is a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 carrier board housed in an industrial aluminium enclosure, with passive cooling, NVMe and numerous mounting options.

The Desktop version is housed in the Combi-Case. An aluminium extrusion that has been designed with a slick, smooth profile so not to look out of place sat on a desktop.
The Industrial version is housed in the E-Case B. An extruded aluminium enclosure that is designed to take various mounting options, including surface, DIN Rail and VESA mount
The industrial version can also be mounted into a 19" rack panel, up to 3 cases per panel. The units are also removable for ease of maintenance.
The Eurorack version will be the bare board mounted on the rear of a Eurorack face plate.

Passive Cooling:

We performed 2 heat tests as outlined below to assess the effectiveness of the passive cooling system.

Test 1:

We housed the board in one of our industrial enclosures and ran the processor at 100% for 1 hour. The board exceeded 80°C within 15 minutes and began to throttle back.

Test 2:

We housed the board complete with the passive cooling heat plates in one of our industrial enclosures and ran the processor at 100% for 1 hour. The maximum temperature seen during the test was 64°C and therefore no throttling back of the processor
